How do I start?
The best and quickest way is to submit an inquiry. A Patient Relationship Specialist is assigned to you who will put together your case, share with more than one docs and hospitals and get returned to you with a treatment plan, value of treatment and different beneficial information.
Where are you located?
We are based in Istanbul, Turkey. Moreover; we have active representations in Strangnas – Sweden and Sarajevo – Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have agents in other parts of the world where we have network health providers.

Any estimate at the value?

Why are your prices cheaper than other countries?
The cost difference is largely due to the exchange rate difference, along with labor and insurance costs, not for poor quality. Turkey has a favorable exchange rate with many currencies, so our prices remain very cheap compared to other countries.
Do the doctors & nurses & medical staff speak English?
All of our associate hospitals have fluent English talking staff. We have translators to serve patients talking Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian. Our translators from different languages are also available when needed. I actually have a “unique requirement”, following session with us, we can accommodate all unique necessities in which feasible. Please do inform us of such necessities in order that we are able to make suitable preparations for you.
If I deal directly with the doctor or hospital, will my medical fees less?
We search and find the best quality and most suitable hospitals for you. You are just “one” customer for that hospital, we provide them with dozens of patients throughout the year, so we get the best prices for you.
What treatments are available?
Turkey has world-class medical doctors and facilities from simplest to complicated procedures.
Common treatments that we deal with are all Plastic Surgery treatments, Bariatric Surgery, Oncology, Knee and Hip Replacements, Bone, Spine, Heart, Eye, Dental Treatments, Fertility, General Health Check Ups and many more types of treatment that you have special requests.
What if I can’t find the procedure I need on your website?
The procedure you are looking for may not be listed on our application form or on our website, but there is a good chance we can assist you. Send us a message about what you are looking for; Let’s see what we can do for you as soon as possible.
Which travel documents do I need?
Depending on your country of origin and/or your citizenship, you may need a valid passport and/or visa (we can also assist you with this if you wish).
Isn’t it high priced to journey remote places for treatment?
Compared to the savings in medical costs, the cost of travel is often insignificant. Also, please have a look at the current Turkish Lira / Exchange rate parity on google 😉
Who will be managing details of my case for the duration of my trip?
Each patient is assigned a Patient Relationship Specialist to deal with their visit and successful return and recovery processes.
Will I need a companion to accompany me?
It is not usually required, but depending on the content of your treatment, we will talk to your doctor and give you clear information before your trip.
What are the crucial Instructions for International Patient to journey in Turkey?
Our international patients will need to send us the travel request form containing their airline, passport and visa information. Keep important emergency numbers with you at all times. Credit and Debit cards are the safest form of payment; however, cash may be required in many cases, so have some local currency on hand.
What does the cost for surgical treatment exclude?
– Medications prescribed after the patient is discharged from the hospital.
– Any care or service related to complications that may occur, not related to the Patient’s Surgical Treatment (additional costs will be collected from the Patient according to the standard fees of the Hospital in effect at that time)
– Any service or care related to major complications that may arise during the patient’s surgery and which require the transfer of the patient to the Internal or External Special Intensive Care Unit. (additional costs related to the treatment of the said major complication will be charged to the patient according to the standard fees applicable at the time of the complication.)
-Any inpatient stays in the hospital regarding the initial hospital stay in relation to the patient’s surgical treatment and is decided by the patient and the surgeon for medical reasons. In such a case, the costs of extending the inpatient stay will be collected from the Patient and paid by the Patient to the Hospital immediately.
If I am taking a companion, can he/she travel with me?
Of course, your friend can travel with you. He or she may need a valid passport as well as a visa (this depends on the country of destination and country of origin/citizenship). Most hospitals in Turkey allow at least one attendant to stay with the patient (in the hospital). For accommodation, ticketing and other needs, you can ask us without hesitation.
Do you help with VISA?
After you have decided on a hospital, we will work with the hospital to get you the VISA invitation letter (issued by the hospital). Usually, patients get a priority VISA through that.
Can I go for a “sight-seeing”? Or can I add an extra few days holiday plan?
Yes, we will be happy to show you around and create your extra holiday plan. Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and there are many places to visit, our advice would be to spare a few extra days to explore Istanbul. Where do I stay?
Our Patient Relations Specialist will share accommodation options with you. Before you set off for your trip, we work with you to make sure you book an accommodation you like and choose. Alternatively, you can make the reservation online, for which we can recommend popular websites.
I don’t know anything about the country I’m coming from. Will I be safe?
Turkey is a really safe place for tourists. Hospitals and places close to it have been verified by us. Also on arrival you will receive Concierge set from us about the city and Tips-Tricks to make your stay easier.
Can I book my own travel arrangements?
Yes. Of course, you can book your flight and arrange your accommodation yourself, it will be enough to share all the details with us beforehand. Your airport pick-up is free, MW Concierge is with you every step of the way to keep you moving and staying comfortable.
Do the hospitals in Turkey accept health insurance?
If you have an internationally valid/valid health insurance in Turkey, please warn the hospital about this. If it is an approved insurance provider; The hospital may require you to receive an advance payment guarantee, which you must coordinate with your home country. Be sure to share this important information with us in advance.
Can I learn the CVs and references of the doctors?
Yes, we will provide you with all the professional information of the doctor. If this information is not available on our website, we will also share all the information about the doctor we recommend to you.
What if something goes wrong?
The hospitals we work with have invested millions of dollars to be the best. They have received important certifications from many international organizations (such as JSI-Joint Commission International) and they absolutely do not want to have the negative impact of any negative advertising affecting their business.
At the same time, any surgery or medical procedure, of course, involves various risks and successful results cannot be 100% guaranteed by anyone.
Can I have more than one medical procedure at the same time?
Yes, of course it is possible. However, this will depend on the doctor’s assessment of your particular situation. This may be more advantageous in terms of cost, you can ask all such questions in detail when we talk to you.
What about “after-care”?
Depending on your treatment you will be advised on the “after-care” program. We help you there as per the doctor’s recommendation.
We certainly don’t consider your treatment to be over and we are done with you. We care very much that you leave happy and healthy and that you give us positive references for our other customers.
What about follow-up care after I return from my trip?
Our Patient Relationship Specialist continues to be at your service after your return. Don’t worry about this, we will help you with follow-up consultations with the doctor, reports, medications and any other help you may need.
